Mighty Fortress Church and Other Churches in Minnesota

Churches are architectural heritage as they are stunning and bare cultural value. Minnesota has many beautiful churches.

Hennepin Ave United Methodist Church, Minneapolis was built in 1916 in the model of English Rural Gothic Architecture. The building has a pointed center spire which made in the second tallest building in the city at some point. The church was build in the image of a famous church in Cambridge, England. Built in 1909, the Church of St. Mary’s, New Trier is overlooking the town from its hilltop, and it is included in the National Register of Historic Places. The church was build in a French style called Beaux-Arts.

Established in 1869, the Church of the Holy Communion, St. Peter sports an A-frame structure built in Gothic style using Kasota stone mined locally. The structure has gabled eye windows on either side of the sloped roof, and the door is medieval-Gothic in bright red.

There are many gorgeous structures around the world. But if it’s not a cultural landmark you are after, but a service, Mighty Fortress Church might be for you. It is based in Minneapolis as well, and it offers practical biblical living. The Mighty Fortress is, in fact, an international chain founded by Bishop T. R. Williams, who is also serving as President of the Mighty Fortress. Bishop T. R. Williams has been in his line of work for more than 30 years.

Bishop T. R. Williams graduated in Tulsa, Oklahoma from the Rhema Bible Training Center. He also has a bachelor’s degree from the North Central University in Minneapolis in Mass Communications. North Central University in Minneapolis later continued his education at the Bethel University and Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota from which he achieved a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. Bishop T. R. Williams later moved on to accomplish a couple of honorary doctorate degrees- one from the Midwest Christian College & Seminary and the other from the St. Thomas College in Jacksonville, Florida.
